after the debut release on do not sleep become a sure fire club hit, the ibiza party turned much loved house and tech label now has another weapon up its sleeve. the next release is from perel, is titled charles manson and features another standout remix from resident darius syrossian. perel is a berlin based dj, producer and vocalist who is quickly rising through the ranks. she has released both originals and remixes on o*rs before now, and has a robust house and techno infused sound that simply makes you want to dance. as a dj she is a regular at cool spots like farbfernseher and impresses here with what she serves up for do not sleep. the original is a chunky, no-nonsense house track with bouncy bass, subtle vocals and the sort of futuristic and soulful pads that help make it really stand out. it s a slick, well produced sound that is sure to make it into many top record bags in the coming weeks and months. the remix from darius is a subtle one that layers in some trance inducing vocals and extra breakdowns so as to really highlight the powerful effect of the drums each and every time they drop.

embracing disco, techno and house music in all its declinations, what ever not introduces now british artist reformed society, project started by house producer harsh puri as a consequence of djing and collecting records since 1998, debuting with a four track old school house ep, optimistic chaos coherently fitting with the italian imprint philosophy. hope has that solar, yet dusty groove folding distorted rhythmics and joyful pads around an insistent lead dubby pattern and shimmering synths. optimistic chaos is again smooth but lightly gloomy, until a pause intoxicates ones body and mind filling them with inebriating ambients. incognito delivers a deep driving atmosphere here, featuring dogged, crisp drums together with minimalist, yet momentary cosmic motives. for the closing cut detracid, the artist cooks up a brew of acid lines with the usual charming synths and vivid hats, building a light sense of tension fired up by the warm, heady sound scapes. each track is similar to the last, stiffening the musical timbre of the label, confirming the producers strong artistic identity as a consequence.

with a passion for disco, italo, chicago house and detroit techno patrizio cavaliere aka rocco universal has been collecting music for the last two decades and its these musical influences that have shaped his raw, tripped out disco/house production sound. tiny islands, his debut release for leng, is a real melting pot of rich melodies over a thick baseline and is a clear example of roccos passion for the dancefloor. with something as multi layered and deep as the original track it needed ray mang to add his trademark sound to the remix. here he goes straight for the jugular drawing out some of the loops and percussion leaving no mistake as to when this should be dropped on the dancefloor.
curitiba-based aia records returns with it s second release. lucas and marcelo also known as doneck, started to join forces back in early-2013. musically influenced by international recognised artists such as san soda, andré,,s and move d, the duo also found significance in the sounds of aia s own label heads aninha & antonela antonela giampietro. therefore, creating a mixture of three soulful, deep but endlessly sounding tracks seems very convincing and credible to the overall ethos of the imprint. with assaz the duo delivers a deep but soulful house number, whereas ocluso is deep house at it s best, with a light atmospheric vibe and the echoing vocal. last but not least, tê,,nue creates this feeling of weightlessness and ease with warm natural added sounds and it s groovy bassline.
